Squalane for Skincare: Why You Should Try This Ingredient in Your Skin Care Routine

Before We Go On

Squalane, derived from olives, is one of our favorite ingredients to use in our products for its' compatibility with the skin and its deep moisturizing abilities that tame all skin concerns. Squalane is a hydrogenated version of Squalene, a similar substance but found mainly in animals. Unlike Squalene, Squalane is derived from plants like olives. It's emollient properties prevent moisture loss and adds a boost to the skin's cell regeneration abilities. It is gentle and soothing for the skin to use. Making it an all in all, superstar ingredient especially as we reach our 20's and lose a lot of our natural Squalene

If you're interested in trying Squalane - try our Squalane Ampoule Treatment Mask and Squalane Silk Mask. For a more intensive treatment refer to the Squalane Ampoule Treatment Mask, and for an everyday Squalane Mask use the Silk Mask.

The best time to use a Squalane based product is for anti-aging purposes, hydration to solve skin concerns such as blemishes, flakey skin, and dull skin. It's especially great for hydrating acne-prone skin because of how light the ingredient is.
